It took several minutes to scan my music folder on a network attached storage drive on my network. After that, I can access all of my music anywhere in my house. I use an old iPhone to plug into a 1960 Dynaco tube amp setup. It sounds wonderful!

This is it people, if you have a large music collection, painstakingly compiled over years, with uncountable hours dedicated to making sure all songs have album art , and proper names... This is it. It took some time to scan my library.. I thought it wouldnt work but next time I opened the app all my music was there! Now it doesnt matter that I couldnt fit my 200GB worth of music in my iPhone, because i can listen to it whenever I want (within my house)

This app has a lot of great features for people with a large music library. It uses samba (SMB) for its connection and it basically indexes a given directory (including sub-directories) and locates all music files. I use it with a portable wifi hard drive that uses SMB and it works perfect. You can also connect over cellular data if you know how to configure port-forwarding on your router. It has a feature that allows you to add 10 random songs to a playlist, which I find myself using a lot. The best part about that feature is if you find an artist that you want to listen to, then there is a "Locate Album" button that brings you straight into the album. Tons of features here and Im sure well see more from this solid developer.

Works great, and solves the music streaming from a collection.

An excellent app to use when: 1/ YOUR Music is important to you, and you dont want iTunes or some other system to mess with your music files and tags, 2/ You dont want/dont need/ cannot store your files locally (typical of storage-constraint iPhones), and 3/ You dont want to install a streaming software on your PC, NAS, or portable streamer. I use it when traveling with a cheap SD/Thumbdrive streamer. Th e app model --scanner/player on the iPhone, SMB service on the under-powered streamer works perfectly. The one screen interface is a little busy, but there is no hidden UI, and I was up and running in seconds. I have an issue with very long file names (common with classical music), but I am not sure if it is an app or a Samba issue. The scan will hang on these tracks with very long names (FileBrowser has the same issue). A few improvements: I would love to be able to select the accent color --not a big fan of the black/yellow bee combo, and even better a unique accent color per playlist with coordinated home screen icon. Another improvement would be to have the option to save the scan cache/database on the remote media: if you use a streamer and often swap the SD/Thumdrive, you wont have to rescan everything each time. Still, a truly great App!

Took a few hours to scan my "very" large library. This is a "one" time thing. After this Ive used this product to hear all my music from my desktop computer on my iPhone. This app organizes everything by artist then album. Artwork is beautiful when you click thumbnail to in large to full size. Only improvement would be to put the Chromecast audio button on every page seen. This app is amazing.

Its nice to see a developer that responds to feature requests and implements them in their updates. This app works great with large music libraries and it can connect to anything with a samba (SMB) server. I use it with a portable wifi drive and it works perfect. I also connect to my home computer using cell data, after configuring port forwarding on my router. This is a solid app and I look forward to future updates!

Id like to see cross fade, smart playlist and M3U import added to the app

For years I have been waiting for a good music streaming app that would allow me to access my NAS music library - FileBrowser was my only option. Excellent job bringing this to the market. Now all we need is an option to eliminate the pause between tracks as I am jamming my playlists. Thanks!

Im not very fond of the design, but it works great. Thanks for the app and for keeping it updated!

This truly is an awesome app. Wireless to the home network. A bluetooth receiver for an older system is cheap and it works great.
